Your commission

The standard rate is 5% of the ticket price actually paid on an eligible referred General Admission or VIP order. Fees, price-lock deposits, travel packages and unpaid orders do not earn commission. An individually agreed rate, shown in your affiliate dashboard and confirmed by email, applies to future confirmed sales only. Past sales retain their original rate. There is no signup fee or follower minimum. A KES 1,000 ticket earns KES 50; KES 2,000 earns KES 100.

How a sale finds you

Share your unique AfroCoast link. The last eligible affiliate link visited before checkout receives attribution for 30 days in the same browser. Private browsing, cleared cookies, changing devices or blocked cookies can prevent attribution. Attribution is fixed when checkout starts. Self-referrals using your registered email or phone do not earn commission. Link previews and known bots do not count as visits; repeat visits within a minute are counted once.

Your dashboard shows link visits, unique visitors, confirmed orders, tickets, sales value and commission. Visits are a measure of site activity, not proof that someone saw a social post. Buyer names, emails and phone numbers are never shared with affiliates.

When you can withdraw

Commission appears after the payment provider confirms payment and becomes available after 48 hours. Withdraw KES 100 or more to the M-PESA number you registered. You receive your requested amount in full; AfroCoast covers transfer fees. A fresh code sent to your verified email authorizes each withdrawal.

We aim to process withdrawals within 2 business days. Provider outages, funding delays or payment reviews can delay this; the exact state is visible in your dashboard. A request reserves your balance. It is marked paid only after provider verification. Failed or reversed transfers restore available funds. If a payout is delayed, contact support with its reference.

Refunds & fair play

Refunded ticket value reverses the corresponding commission at the rate recorded for that sale. Disputed payments can be held for review. Adjustments appear in your sales ledger. If a refund happens after withdrawal, future earnings offset it; we do not initiate a debit from your M-PESA account. Duplicate payment notifications never earn duplicate commission.

You must be 18 or older, share honestly and disclose that you may earn commission. Do not buy fake traffic, impersonate AfroCoast, spam, misrepresent prices or promise lineup details that AfroCoast has not announced. We may pause an account to investigate abuse; contact support for the reason and a review.

Your details & security

We store your name, email and M-PESA phone for account access and payouts; hashed access tokens, referral visit identifiers, activity, sales attribution and payout records support the ledger. Referral cookies last 30 days; account access lasts up to 30 days. We use Resend for verification emails and Paystack for M-PESA payouts. We do not sell your details or publish your earnings.

Keep your email account secure and never share verification codes. To change your payout number, report an attribution issue or request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, email support from your registered address. Financial records may need to be retained for reconciliation.
